Mica and Mica Paper Composites
Mica is a unique natural material possessing exceptionally high dielectric strength, the ability to fracture easily, great tensile strength, and high thermal resistance. Owing to this set of properties, mica has retained its leading role in electrical insulators production for over 100 years.
Nowadays mica-based products are indispensable in production and repair of high-voltage electric machines, traction motors, turbine and water-powered generators, and transformers.
The “Electroisolit" CJSC has mastered to perfection the know-hows of manufacturing all known mica- and mica paper-based electrical insulators.
The main range of micaceous materials application encompasses turn and frame insulation of high voltage electrical machines, mica cone, cylinder liner and tube manufacture, traction motor commutator separators insulation, slot and interphase insulation of electrical machines and apparatuses.
