Impregnated Fibrous Materials, Plastic Laminates, Winding Products

 

The combination of optimum mechanical and physical properties of fibrous materials with high dielectric strength of impregnating compounds led to emergence of a whole class of electrical insulators including: 

  • Silk-, caprone-, glass-based and oil-, polyester-, silicone-, and other binders-impregnated electrical insulation varnish cloths; 
  • Paper-, cotton- and glass-based plastic laminates of different insulation class, cloth-laminated rods, profiled fiberglass-reinforced plastics; 
  • Paper-bakelite and epoxy-phenolic glass tubes and barrels, solid insulation frames for high-voltage bushings, heat-resistant tubes and barrels. 

Various materials of this class are widely applied in electrical machinery industry, electrical accessory and instrument making, radio engineering, in manufacturing tape- and laying pad-shaped conducting wires and cables, insulation and construction details for different operating environments and climatic service conditions.
